This is a VICI 10-port mini diaphragm sample injection and switching valve for use with 1/32” zero dead volume fittings. It has an internal bore size of 0.010” (0.25 mm) and can be used with air actuators for applications up to 300 psi gas at 175°C.
It is useful for applications where the sample is above ambient pressure, but can also be used at subambient pressures, such as when the sample is pulled through the valve by a vacuum.
Actuator air (40-50 psi) is supplied to a side port with 10-32 female threads, allowing use of a variety of compression or barbed fittings. A 3-way solenoid is required for actuator use (sold separately)
The valve has a stainless steel stator, a polyimide diaphragm, and comes with stainless steel nuts and ferrules.
