This is a replacement VICI C22Z 1/16” zero dead volume (ZDV) injector valve with two positions. It has a 0.03” (0.75 mm) bore size and is suitable for LC applications up to 250 psi liq at 75° C. It’s compatible with manual and automated pneumatic or electric actuators, and comes with 10-32 ZDV fittings and 1/16” PEEK hex-head nuts and ferrules.
The stator is made from PPS (Polyphenylene sulphide), which is resistant to all solvents, acids, and bases, and the rotor is made of Valcon E2, a proprietary reinforced TFE composite that works well at lower pressures. Valcon E2 is resistant to most chemicals but should not be used in prolonged contact with high concentrations of sulfuric and nitric acids, DMSO, or liquid methylene chloride.
NOTE
This line of valves is also available with a purge option: using a flow of gas or liquid to flush the valve interior of potentially toxic or corrosive components.
