This is a four-port MW-style sampling/switching valve with 1/4” fittings and 0.156” (4.0 mm) bore, for use with all actuator types.
It is made of 316 stainless steel and includes stainless steel nuts and ferrules. The rotor is made from Valcon E2, a proprietary reinforced TFE composite that works well at lower pressures and is suitable for temperatures up to 75°C. This material is resistant to most chemicals but should not be used in prolonged contact with high concentrations of sulfuric and nitric acids, DMSO, or liquid methylene chloride.
This valve can be used at pressures up to a maximum of 100 psi at 75°C.
Contact us for information about options for larger bore sizes and non-standard valve body materials.
NOTE
GC valves usually require a standoff—an extension between the valve and actuator which allows the valve to be mounted in the heated zone while the actuator or handle remains outside at ambient temperature.
