This replacement rotor is for eight-position trapping/flow-through selectors with 1/8” fittings and a bore size of 0.4” (1.0 mm). It is made from Valcon E, a polyaryletherketone/PTFE composite material for medium-temperature GC applications.
This rotor is designed for a long lifespan. Typically, cleaning and polishing rotors can wear away material from the internal taper. Because this rotor is oversized by 0.005”, it can be factory repaired multiple times and continue to operate effectively for years or even decades.
