These micro-tees are made to connect 1/16” OD tubing; they have a 0.15 mm bore.
VICI microvolume connectors have a unique two-piece design that provides an extremely small bore in a conventional ferrule and nut fitting. The connection area is separated from the nut threads, with a polymer insert and the threads machined into a PEEK ring.
The ring containing the threads and the inserts are made of PEEK. Note that PEEK rings are not usable above 75°C. All standard Valco-style zero dead volume reducing ferrules (ZRF, FS, and FSR) will work in these fittings. They are uniquely designed to fill the void between the fitting pilot and the smaller tubing OD, eliminating any dead volume in the fitting. (Reducing ferrules such as our RF series should be avoided, since they leave dead volume.)
