This 1/16” injector valve has 6 ports and 0.01” (0.25 mm) bore and operates manually. An engraved channel on the stator maintains continuous flow between Ports 2 and 3 during most of the switching cycle, virtually eliminating pressure spikes.
VICI’s Model C1 through-the-handle external loop injector design enables manual direct syringe loading, giving you a choice between a partial filling (volume is determined by syringe) or full-loop (volume is determined by the size of the loop). When the handle is moved into the inject position, a remote start mechanism in the handle creates a contact closure that can be used to start the LC and/or data system.
These valves are suitable for HPLC applications up to 5,000 psi liq at a maximum of 75° C. The stator is made of Nitronic 60 (N60) stainless steel, a gall-resistant metal, and the rotor is made of Valcon H, a carbon fiber-reinforced, PTFE-lubricated inert engineering polymer.
