Description

This injector is a replacement valve assembly for Gas Chromatography Systems (Valmet) analyzers (formerly known as Siemens and Applied Automations).

It has two sample sizes available, 0.06 μl and 0.1 μl and is designed for high-temperature samples, for use with 1/16” valves and 0.4 mm ports. The valve as originally supplied will inject a 0.06 μl sample. When the rotor is removed and manually rotated 180°, the sample size injected is 0.1 μl. This rotor re-orientation can be accomplished without disengaging the valve from the actuator or manual handle assembly.

This injector is specified for a maximum pressure of 1000 psi and a maximum temperature of 175° C. VICI switching valves are made of Nitronic 60 with a rotor made of Valcon E, a polyaryletherketone/PTFE composite.
