1/16” to ⅛” OD Bulkhead Reducing Union - External/Internal

External/internal reducing unions connect two sizes of tubing. This bulkhead version connects 1/16” OD to ⅛” OD tubing; it has a bore size of 1/16”. The ⅛” side uses an external fitting, and the 1/16” side uses a zero dead volume internal fitting. 

Bulkhead versions are designed to be mounted through an instrument panel or on a bracket. The panel hole diameter is 5/16” for this union, and the bulkhead nut is on the side with the internal fitting. The fitting body is undercut so that it bites into the panel when the mounting nut is tightened, eliminating the need for a lock washer. 

Custom configurations, for example with the external nut on the locking nut side, are available on special request. Standard material is 300 series stainless. Also available in Hastelloy C, gold-plated stainless, and titanium versions.

Bulkhead versions

• With a bulkhead union, an O-ring can be installed between the body and the panel to allow operation in purged environments.

• Select the union with the bore that matches the ID of the tubing. If the IDs are different, choose the union with a bore that matches the smaller tube bore.
