For superior flow path control, VICI’s Valco collection of two-position sampling/switching valves for GC and HPLC have set the industry standard for half a century. They provide a wide range of options for number of ports and positions, fitting sizes, ID/OD, and configuration to suit an array of applications.
- GC Sampling/Switching Valves - available in low temperature (up to 100 psi gas at 75° C, medium (up to 400 psi gas at 225° C) and high temperature (up to 300 psi gas at 330° C) versions with a variety of ports, fitting sizes, and bore sizes.
- GC Internal Injection Valves - for use up to 1,000 psi liq at 175° C, these valves are available in bore sizes from 0.25 mm to 0.75 mm for use with ⅛”, 1/16”, and 1/32” fittings.
- HPLC Sampling/Switching Valves - available for analytical, semi-preparative, and preparative applications up to 5,000 psi liq at 75, these valves offer 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 ports and a choice of fitting and bore sizes.
- HPLC Internal Injection Valves - used for applications up to 5,000 psi liq at 75, these valves come in 0.40 and 0.75 mm bore size for 1/16” fittings.
All our injection valve models are operable with manual or automated (pneumatic or electric) actuators and come with fittings made of material compatible with their construction
VICI’s valves are known for their reliability, easy maintenance, and flexible configuration options.
Valco Two-position Valves
With rare exceptions, there is no difference between switching valves and external volume sampling valves, so the same valve can be used for either function.
The unique advantage of 8, 10, 12 and 14 port valves is that they reduce extra column volume by combining sampling and switching functions in a single valve. This minimizes expense, maintenance, service, and risk of leaks as compared to multiple 6 port valve systems.
